The FMGE record is one of the few things you can check for yourself about any MBBS abroad university, and RUDN's 2024 result is above the Russian average, on a small cohort:

Read RUDN's row with its denominator. A cohort of 22 is below the size at which a pass rate is a reliable guide, so one good year proves little. The steadier figure is its lifetime record across every NBEMS report from 2012 to 2025: 58 of 210, or 27.62%, much closer to the Russian average than the 2024 headline.

Recognition & Accreditation — Global Career Pathways

• ›NMC (India): no foreign university is “NMC approved” — NMC endorses no list. What it regulates is your degree, under FMGL-2021: 54 months of study, a 12-month internship at the same institution, English medium, and a qualification licensing you to practise in Russia.
• ›WDOMS: Listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. WDOMS itself says a listing does not mean recognition, accreditation or endorsement, and WHO does not accredit medical schools.
• ›ECFMG (USA): USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK are open to graduates of a school WDOMS lists as meeting ECFMG's requirements, and ECFMG Certification needs a Sponsor Note on the school's WDOMS entry that covers your graduation year. Step 3 needs ECFMG Certification first. Check the Sponsor Notes tab on RUDN's WDOMS entry before you plan on this route.
• ›GMC (UK): The GMC does not recognise universities. It must accept your qualification as an acceptable overseas qualification before you can take PLAB, and a WDOMS entry is one of its conditions, not a guarantee. Check with the GMC before booking PLAB: if it later refuses the qualification, the PLAB fees are not refunded.

Admission Process at RUDN via A.J Trust — Step by Step
